Is anyone else just a lover of meat? To any of you who chose not eat meat, I respect it! However, I am a carnivore through and through. Thats why I absolutely love Korean bbq, especially if it is all you can eat.
On paydays when money is more then plentiful, I like to treat myself to my favorite place to fill up on meats of all kinds…Q Pot! Located in San Jose, California on Capitol Expressway, right off of high way 101. Q pot is an all you can eat Korean bbq and hot pot location. For just the price of $30.99 per person you can enjoy unlimited quality meats, and both the bbq and the soup. The funnest part is, you cook it yourself! It seems like a tedious task, but with others it makes for a fun dinner activity. This location can be a little pricey but for the quality and quantities you can enjoy, It is well worth the price!
My favorite things to get here are the thin sliced meats. They cook quickly and get nice and crunchy. I love to dip the meat in the recommended sauce you make yourself at their large sauce bar. I would highly recommend you try some woo beasel (beef belly), woo Sul (beef tongue), and Sal Chi Sal (chuck flap tail). They sound a little silly but they taste amazing. Check out their menu online to see all the other options they have like sea food and sides.
Q pot is not a restaurant I recommend you attend often, it is quite heavy and can be a bit pricey. However when you are in the mood for meat and feel like splurging, Q pot in South San Jose is the way to go! Check out my review on yelp.
