San Fransisco, China Town is a busy location all times of the week. There is so many options to chose from, you really have no idea where to start. After some research and walking up and down china town, we found a diamond in the rough. This hole in the wall of a location looked traditional, so we were interested.
The location was Chinese food and dim sum. We walked in and were greeted by the family who owned the restaurant. They were so kind and quick to serve up some hot tea. After reading a menu plentiful with options we chose our meal. We had wonton soup, thin chow mien, ginger noodles, fried rice, ginger and onion beef, and shrimp rice rolls. It was a lot of food and each item was delicious. We were so full and satisfied every bite was full of flavor and you could tell this food was made fresh and traditionally.
We finished our meal and received the bill. It was cash only, but we came prepared. My #1 tip for traveling in San Fransisco BRING CASH!!! For this entire large meal for 3 was simply $60. We were shocked! The food was so delicious and such good quality we were prepared to shell out $100 for this big meal. The quality, quantity, and pricing was unbelievable! This small family owned location had us coming back within the next two weeks! I can’t wait to go back. Check out my yelp review! Hope you make the trip down to San Fransisco’s China Town, and keep your eyes peeled for “yummy yummy”!
